Diego was bored. Being at the hospital was perhaps the most boring thing ever; he'd almost rather be in school. Almost. Normally he wouldn't mind visiting the hospital and his new cousins but they hadn't been in the room they were last time. Conner had said they were off eating lunch with their Grandmother and the babies left behind were too little to play with.

He wasn't even supposed to be here today. But their school had had a bomb threat and instead of being like public schools, the expensive private school always closed for the rest of the day when they got a threat, which was happening more and more recently. It was starting to get annoying, especially to his father who was usually the one required to pick him and Símon up when it happened.

To make things even more boring, his father was occupied with Conner in the redhead's office; something that Diego had absolutely no interest in being around. Símon was...somewhere. Diego had sort of lost track of his cousin in the large hospital, not that it was something to worry about. Everyone in the hospital knew their family and would make sure nothing happened to the blonde. There was no way they'd risk his fathers' wrath by not keeping an eye on him.

Diego sighed and wandered into his male cousin's room. It was larger than the girls' so that was usually where they all congregated. Being bored out of his mind Diego started rummaging around the room until he found an assortment of different things. A loose cotton ball, five paperclips, a wooden block with the number 3 on it, James' blanket, and a black sharpie with the label almost rubbed completely off of its side.

Diego frowned a bit at the items he'd found. James' would freak if something happened to his blanket so that was quickly thrown onto the four-year-old's bed and not looked at again. The cotton ball was boring so that was tossed into a nearby waste bin. Nothing can be done with a single building block so that went on a table and was promptly forgotten about. The paperclips could be made into a chain and were before they too got boring. That left the sharpie.

The boy looked at the sharpie for a minute before glancing around the room for something to draw on. He frowned at the lack of paper in the room. He'd have to improvise.

It took a minute but for some reason his attention was caught by an empty electrical socket on the wall. Diego knew better to draw on walls but he figured he could easily blame one of the younger kids and get away with it. He crouched down next to it and drew a large pair of bunny ears over top of it. He giggled a bit to himself. He'd always thought the little cut outs looked like a face and now it really did. A bunny's face to be more specific.

He looked over as he heard a set of footsteps. For a moment he was worried that an adult was coming and therefore he'd get in trouble for drawing on the wall but when he recognized one of his cousins he relaxed. Aiden, a four year old with blue eyes the color of those fake aquarium rocks, was sucking the end of a fork of the remaining sauce that had been clinging to the tines. "What are you doing?" He asked lowering the fork and studying Diego curiously.

"Nothing." Diego said quickly pocketing the sharpie. "Just...looking at the bunny." He said pointing at the electrical socket with one finger.

Aiden cocked his head to the side and came a bit closer to the wall to look at the socket. "That's not a bunny." He stated.

"Sure it is." Diego said indignantly. "See it has ears and a nose and everything."

The blonde frowned a bit and brought the fork to rest against his mouth again. "I...guess..." He muttered unsure. "It does look like a bunny..."

"Of course it does." Diego agreed. Suddenly, a wicked thought occurred to him and he smiled as he turned to his younger and therefore inherently more gullible cousin. "Ya know, bunnies really like it when you scratch their noses."

"They do?" Aiden asked in surprise.

"Uh huh. I dare you to scratch the bunny's nose with your fork." Diego said pointing to the metal fork in his cousin's hand.

Aiden looked at his fork for a minute then the electrical socket before shrugging. He reached out with the fork and Diego bit his lip to keep from laughing as the end tine of the fork fell into the slot. There was a loud 'pop' and Aiden yelped loudly as the fuse snapped and made the lights in the room flicker. Diego laughed at the blackened face and blonde hair standing on end. Aiden coughed before dropping the fork and running out of the room wailing loudly. Diego laughed louder before hurrying after the boy. He thought that effect only happened in cartoons.

Aiden ran to his father's room and leapt onto the bed still crying. He buried his face against Tarot's chest drawing surprised looks from all the adults in the room. "What happened?" Dani asked as Tarot held his electrocuted son with more than a bit of worry.

"The bunny bit me!" Aiden wailed against Tarot's chest.

"W-what?" Conner asked in surprise.

Diego giggled from outside of the room. He tried to stifle the noise but his father, who then grabbed him by the back of the shirt and hoisted him into the air, unfortunately heard it. "Diego?"

Diego gave Hide a tentative smile. "I'm not a bunny." He said.

"He told me to scratch the bunny!" Aiden accused pointing at Diego before going back to clinging to his father's shirt.

Hides narrowed his eyes a bit at his son. Diego smiled again. "I might've..." He admitted sheepishly. "But I didn't make him do it!" He argued.

"What bunny exactly?" Dani interrupted as he tried to flatten Aiden's hair with one hand.

Diego squirmed a bit to indicate he needed to be on the floor. Hides put his son down and Diego walked over to the wall and crouched down to draw bunny ears on the nearest socket before stepping back and pointing at it. "That bunny." He said as he fought against his smile.

Aiden sniffed. "It bit me!"

There was a long silence following the declaration. Hides sighed and shook his head in a bit of disbelief and embarrassment that his son had caused this trouble. Suddenly there was a single soft laugh and everyone looked over to see a tiny smile at the edge of Tarot's mouth. Aiden scowled at his father. "Daddy! It's not funny!"

Tarot managed to paint his face emotionless but his eyes still held a bit of suppressed laughter. "Of course not." He muttered soothingly as Dani hid his own smile behind his hand while his eyes watered a bit and Conner stared in amazement at the sound of Tarot's brief laugh.

Diego smiled widely and looked at Hides. "See? I'm helpful." He said pointing to his own chest.

"You're grounded." Hides countered.

"Aww..." Diego lowered his head dejectedly. He knew it was too good to hope to be let off the hook...
